Conte: It’s Not My Hardest Period
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte acknowledged that the bad period his side is currently under, is not the toughest period he has at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are currently buffeted by an injury storm, and are nine points behind Manchester City at the top of the table.
However, the Italian man admits that the adaptation process with the existing culture in England, is the toughest period he is at Chelsea, and Conte hopes the success they achieved last season, could inspire his squad to repeat the same thing.
“The beginning of my career here is a much heavier period. I arrived in a new country, and I had to adapt to new types of football, new languages, and new habits. It’s not that easy. ”
“I am faced with a situation full of problems. After 10 matches, I am again faced with a difficult situation. I found a lot of problems last season, and I’m trying to solve those problems. I think I’ve solved a lot of problems. ”
“Do not forget, when we won the title, no one predicted it, either at the start of the season, nor at the end of the transfer market.”
“I think we did a fantastic job last season. But now we have to get back to work, try again to fix the problem, and create something important for the club. “
