Personalize your Google search

Considering the fact that we all use Google search veeery often, I have accepted promoting a creative site which brings some color to our searches: Personalize Google. How`s that? Well, we all like simplicity, isn`t it? But a white half of a page isn`t exactly what`s on our minds when we think about simplicity.

I could call simplicity this image, which I also found it romantic and, why not, sexy:

That`s what Personalize Google do, trough Groovle. There are many albums from where you can choose what`s the most attractive for your eyes: Animals, Athletics, Celebrities, Nature, Space, Sports. I`ve already made my choice, Jude Law, this one.

If none of the albums satisfy your wishes (though, I find it pretty difficult), Groovle took care of that possibility too. You may create your own homepage by uploading the picture you like, from your own computer.
After the upload, you have 3 options for the appearance, like in the image below: Fullscreen, Tiled and Framed.

The toolbar right in the top of the page helps you manage easier your options (photo bellow), by changing faster the albums, the size of the image and having options like “create a homepage”, “send to friend” and “add to favorites” on the right side.

If you find a picture you`d like to share with your friends, Groovle has a magic option for that. You find it on the top right corner and than you`ll have to fill in some details:

It would be nice if there were a possibility to put the chosen image also in the page with the search results. Even if that might involve a lack of attention because who would care about those searches when the image of the amazing Angelina Jolie is on the right side?

This idea is also because most of us use Google search from the Firefox (or other browser) toolbar, not from the home page.
